Multi-talented recording artist and songwriter Nic Jackson thrives in a blend of soul, R&B, pop, and a hint of jazz. A graduate of Vocal Technology at Hollywood's Musicians Institute, Nic has performed around the world, from the Greek Theatre, The Novo in Los Angeles (opening for Mint Condition and Blackstreet), and The Fillmore in San Francisco to the White House and the world renowned Montreux Jazz Festival in Montreux, Switzerland. Jackson has also performed live onstage/in studio with the likes of Stevie Wonder, Anderson .Paak, A Taste of Honey, Dave Koz, Ray Parker Jr, The Emotions, and many others. Nic has worked with the popular soulful Seattle based band, The Dip, providing background vocals on tour as well as on their most recent studio albums, "Love Direction", and "Sticking With It".
His voice can be heard featured in Netflix's animated series, Motown Magic, playing characters Uncle Rod and Brad. Jackson's original studio album 'Waiting For The Day' was released in 2020, and his extensive live performance experience and creative spark make him a charismatic artist and performer whose impact stretches far beyond the stage and recording studio. Nic's music has been favorably compared to Marvin Gaye, Al Green, John Legend, and Leon Bridges. He has a sound you already know and love... From the first time you hear it.
